Marc Romboy

1.) Andreas Vollenweider “Behind the garden, under the tree”
Andreas Vollenweider comes from Switzerland and these guys are basicly   much more relaxed then us Germans. The harp he plays is stunning and   distinctive. Definately something to close your eyes and let yourself go.

2.) Jan Gabarek “Red wind”
If you are interested in new jazz which is accessable you should   listen to this guy. “Red wind” is only one of 20 songs I could   mention. The soundtrack for aspiration and love for sure

3.) Joy Division “Atmosphere”
The best and most atmospheric song Joy Division have ever released. I   don’t know the background of the band in a close way but you feel that   Ian Curtis had a fight with himself. One of my alltime top 10 tracks   ever!

4.) Bauhaus “Bela Lugosi’s dead”
Veeery creepy song of course but one of the most goose bump causing songs I have ever heart! Close your eyes and see Boris and Bela in
front of you.

5.) Mozart “Eine kleine Nachtmusik”
Well, what can I say to this guy? Its been a while but this music
will never be out of fashion.

6.) Kraftwerk “Numbers”/”Computer world 2”
Kraftwerk are the most influential band of myself ever. They havenÕt  only produced technical robot songs, no, with this atmo killer they   hit my mind full ace.

7.) Flunk “Blue monday”
The best cover version of New Order’s “Blue monday” ever! Very  sensitive! Chapeau!

8.) Nena “Der Mond ist aufgegangen”
A German lullaby for kids. To me personally something very special,  because of my daughter.

9.) Blumfeld “1000 Tranen tief”
Another German song from a famous band over here. The best love song ever.

10.) Marc Romboy “Elif”
The closing track of my second album “Contrast”. Detroit chords with  the sax of Philip Noha. Sometthing veeeery essential to me.

Marc Romboy ‘Contrast’ is out now on Systematic.
