You can complain trance producers stick on and on to the same old formula but not Re:Locate – regularly praised in these pages. Obviously having a lot of fun in the studio real name Jonas Steur is an innovator who’s certainly not scared of bending the rules. With Cliff Coenraad he combines here heavy guitar, operatic vocals, filtered drums, evocative pads and offbeat electro synths like it that was the norm, even more impressively the track’s structure shoots in all direction.
