They’ve done it again! Coyote are one of the few outfits unafraid to plug into the original Balearic vibe of soul-soothing tranquility and chilled joy, without overcooking or just sounding daft. Timm Sure and Ampo were part of Unity Crescent and their latest incarnation steers right onto Salinas Beach at sunset but works equally as well on what sunny afternoons do pop up at home. ‘Crazy World’ is a boogie-based groover flecked with acid while ‘Eve’ features Sicilian flamenco guitarist Saro Tribastone amidst a wash of warmth and smiles. ‘Too Hard’ relaxes even further with bongos and sonic breezes, coming with a sublimely shimmering piano-dominated remix from Eskimo’s Aeroplane, The whole thing’s an all-round timeless beauty.
