It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Francois Kevorkian’s New York
indie, and in the interim the labels sound has changed from the eclectic to
the deep, soulful and moody. The constant is the quality, and little wonder
with King Britt the producer of this sublime workout featuring chanteuse
Lisa Shaw. Crisp, expertly tooled and with a deeply burbling underbelly in
Philip Charles’ mix, while Taurus & Vaggeli go the electro route, and Britt,
under his Nova Dream Sequence alias, goes even deeper on his version.
