This is another of those ambient records that passes you by; but in the best possible sense. With soft-grained textures, short loops drifting in and out with distant vocals or briefly executed riffs, there’s usually plenty to keep the mind engaged if not the body. At times it’s reminiscent of early Orb material in the way it leaves the mind and returns, with touches of psychedelia in the closing ‘Always A Way Back Up’ and a more powerful approach in ‘When You Are Loved’.
