William Stark aka Flash Callahan is a one man organic funk machine from
north of the border. “Do You Know The Truth EP” is his debut for Jalapeno
Records, and it’s quite obvious why they think they’ve got something special
here. The title cut rides a low slung groove that builds with funky licks,
working itself into a soulful psychedelic wigout, complete with lush
shimmering Hammond and a go go dancing diva. “Do You Know The Truth” comes backed with the get down dirty jam of “Give The People A Break”, and is closely followed by the cool spyfunk of “Cold Heart”. Flash Callahan takes a trip to The Pigeon Toed Orange Peel.
