For years M.I.K.E. has been a fascinating rave producer/dj, combining a
striking melodic sense with solid production skills and a real sense of
drama. His last long player ‘Moving On In Life’ sees him indeed tentatively
moving away from trance in a bid to push the boundaries forward. By going
back to his synth-pop roots and experimenting with the electro sound of now,
the Antwerp-based don delivers a batch of fat tracks, deliciously grand and
hypnotic as ever.
