Bent Van Looy, Reinhard Vanbergen & Niek Meul are Das Pop and they’ve drafted in Belgium’s finest David & Stephen Dewale aka Soulwax for production duties. The first fruits of this relationship is the catchy drum heavy dancefloor savvy “Fool For Love”, complete with riffs that hook and a quality vocal. Peaktime twisted electro infused remixes come from Sebastien, Yuksek and Brodinski. Meanwhile Aeroplane send “Fool For Love” up above the clouds and take Das Pop on a sonic journey. New cut “Tired” rounds off proceedings with a shot of trashy indie that The Fratellis would be proud of. 2008 is looking good for Das Pop.
