Bumblebeez are a crazy mixed up Australian duo, that sound like they know how to have a good time. ‘Prince Umberto & The Sister Of III’ rocks the floor big time, as it batters the shit out of stifled genres, highlights include the trashy rifftastic ‘Freak Ya Loneliness’, think Soulwax meets Eels on an overloaded system at a tripped out happening that you’re not supposed to know about. ‘Dr Love’ bounces on a low slung funky groove, firing off samples left right & center, along the lines of fellow countrymen The Avalanches. Meanwhile ‘Rio’ goes on a Tom Tom Club / 80’s New York vibe, and ‘Clubb Clubb’ takes the old skool hip hop/electro route. Bumblebeez are coming to a party near you very soon.
