Good pop music is a tricky thing to pull off successfully; great pop music is an even rarer thing, yet Pop Levi appears to have a knack for writing and producing irrepressibly catchy pop songs that will have you joyously singing along within the first ten seconds or so. This single is absolutely brilliant – a catchy song, nifty production that’s both lo-fi and cutting edge, and just a real sense of exuberance that’s missing from most pop music. There’s a good dancefloor friendly remix from Pink Enemy, but you don’t really need it, it’s the original that’ll have everyone grinning like they’ve won the lottery. This year’s festival favourite for sure.
