Matt Welch and Terry Ryan return with their second album and boy do they have a lot to live up to after their 1st LP won best album (Breakspoll, was in the top 10 best albums in DJ mag and generally lauded by many a musical type in various scenes. This album brings in a lot of styles, especially a live rocky electro feel, also hip hop / bass stylings featuring the vocal talents of Hip hop dons Afu Ra and Genasis Elijah. Justine Berry delivers the excellent ‘Paper Cuts’ a kind of D n B, breaks, Blondie workout and features frequently on the LP. Elmo Jones gives it the nonchalant/ dirty attitude vocal on ‘I Don’t Care’ a hooky and undulating electro squelch fest, also featuring as a single with a bleep heavy b line beaks remix complete with guitar solos and the original vocal intact..
