Manchester’s Hannah Davidson debuts on this currently-prolific label with her own unique brand of electronic magic. Gorgeous melodies, soundtrack and ambient sensibilities and a variety of musical strains recalling anything from early 90s Sven Vath on ‘Vlodrum’ to 80s Japanese prog-meister Kitaro on the soaring ‘Labrinths’. The Japanese flavour continues on ‘Kites’ and by the soothing strings of ‘Chocolate Oranges’ it’s possible to be floating to the ceiling like the cartoon dog who’s just scoffed a large tub of biscuits.
