London has got a stunning new songstress on the block in the shape of V.V. Brown. Right from the off ‘Crying Blood’ hits you like a slap round the face, with ears fully pricked up, V.V. Brown gets your full attention, coming on with a large dose of 50’s / 60’s rock’n’roll style, that is also totally new and refreshing, plus she sounds like she’s having the time of her life. On the remix front The Dust Brothers deliver an electro workout, while Andrew Weatherall goes for a bass heavy stroll. I think we’re gonna be hearing a lot more from this young lady.
