Friendly Fires
Skeleton Boy

“Skeleton Boy” is the third cut to be lifted from Friendly Fire’s critically acclaimed funky and percussive good time partying self titled debut LP. In it’s original form, “Skeleton Boy” is a hooky slice of modern post punk indie club elecro pop, with funky guitar, soaring choruses and as expected loads of taking it up a notch percussion. Staying true to form, Friendly Fire’s have drafted in Paul Hepworth to produce the single version, fattening it up, bringing the synths to the fore, and sprinkling the choruses with a good dose of anthem dust. In the clubs Zio’s Stellar Extended Remix is setting the floors ablaze, with it’s tweaked pulsing disco bassline, old school Balearic cut up vocal snippets, Kraftwerk like synth lines and hands in the air enhanced choruses. Friendly Fire’s have scored another double whammy, hitting the pop charts and the discoteques.
