MISS KITTIN & THE HACKER

NOBODY’S BIZZNESS

Adam Freeland returns with his band, which is good news for anybody (like me) who thought the ‘Now And Them’ album rocked. This time round the band has a set personnel, . The single itself feels like a continuation of the mood of that record, with its low slung bass, biting synth lines and deceptive lyric. With the punchline reading “nothing is under control”, the mood veers towards the anarchic, and could easily be a pumped-up comment on the state of the world today. Or the state of your dancefloor once you’re done dancing. More power to his elbow! The album’s due in June, and looks like being well worth the wait. (Ben Hogwood) 5 Dancing Men
