We’re sad to report that this will be the last ever missive from Justin Drake and Clive Henry, who’ve been flying the flag for classy UK house as Peace Division for the last 15 years, appearing everywhere including Junior, NRK, Crosstown Rebels and now Tsuba for a final glorious supernova exit. Once again they show how to cause havoc with the simplest ingredients as a huge bass and drum behemoth groove kicks up and proceeds to trample everything in its path with minimum topping like subtle loops and dub effects. It’s an atmosphere, heads-down rumble which will work anywhere apart from the local rabbits’ knitting club. Then Oslo’s Christian Burkhardt comes in for a throbbing titan of a remix, upping the vocal shards, spicing up the percussion but maintaining the atmosphere. Dancefloors will be sadder places without these two but what they’ve done is immortal and they’re doing solo projects anyway. All that remains right now is a massive Salute!
