Hot new talent ahoy as the 24-year-old piano man unleashes a rather jawdropping pair of jazz-flavoured exercises in lustrous, bass-propelled space house. ‘Black Rose’ bounces like early Xpress-2 but from there takes off into outer limits keyboards guided by spoken interjections and peppered with discreet electronic flatulence. This is followed by a stunning remix by Amelie [aka Sophie Oliver and Claudia Lovisa], which pumps up that bass and percussion then drives deep into the night with flashing red rhino’s bell-end on the roof. ‘Can I Get’ boasts classic house sensibility, tension again stoked by the unstoppable bass as keyboards rise and ripple overhead, pausing for a huge, pulsing drop. Mathias Meyer then dubs it up for the remix, completing another winning Supernature package.
