Come On, Come On

There’s something curiously compelling within the Original version of this with its combination of off-kilter pop music and Lisa Shaw’s deep vocal delivery making you want to listen to it on repeat. Then there’s Joe Clausell’s versions that may well test your patience as they add up to some fifteen minutes each but then in their defence the piano is simply classical, while the rhythm section is of course perfect and the vocal treatments heavenly. Meanwhile Morgan Geist adds a tougher element into his mix with welcome euro tendencies giving the song a more edgy alternative to play with. A touch of class.
