“No Time” is the third storming cut to be lifted from The Heavy’s superb sophomore LP “The House That Dirt Built”, and it shows the bands appreciation of rock, as power riffs ride a funky rolling break, whilst lead singer Swaby goes for it Spandex & codpiece style. “No Time” builds with booming bass, big sub kicks, funky horns and bundles of energy. Think Led Zep meet The Chemical Brothers. “No Time” comes backed with the new track “In Time”, a very delicate & fragile affair, with Swaby’s quivering falsetto doing the do, over gently strummed acoustic guitar and distant strings, giving off certain early Stones and Prince flavours. Last but by no means least, Ghost wraps up proceedings with his Extra Time mix of “No Time”, beefing up the drums and overall adding a fair amount of wack. The return of Big Beat. Scorchio!
