Oneohtrix Point Never – Chrome Country

The most transcendent song ever. Bring your spirit high in space !

Asura – Her Tearing:

It’s actually forbidden to listen to only one song from this album, you need the complete adventure to understand how deep this album is. It’s timeless and such a big inspiration.

Asura – Her Tearing

Andrew Pekler – Description of Rain

The pieces on this album are based on recordings made for Phantom Islands – A Sonic Atlas. Great field recording, amazing textures, highly recommended !

Alfred Cortot

One of our favorite piano performers. « The truth is, you need to dream this piece, rather than play it »

You need power? Do you think more in frequencies than notes? You will feel home!

If I had to choose one song, it would be probably this one. Everything is there.

Pink Floyd – Echoes (Remastered)

Yves Tumor – Lifetime

Lovely, powerful, and rough. We had the chance to see him as a support act of Mykki Blanco at Berghain.

HYPER OPAL – Voyage au Bout de la Nuit (Blizzard Audio Club)

HYPER OPAL is a multinational post-rock, electronica pop-hybrid comprised of Marie Hoffmann (V4NT4BL4CK) and Tidiane Cacique (Leave Things) who are the co-creators of Nordpath Records. Combining the unique elements of their native lands (Germany and France), the duo’s sound is focused on the remains of humanity as seen through a technological line of sight, that is in part fueled by the progressive environment of Berlin. The moody vocals of Marie Hoffmann come to the listener as if her spirit were trapped inside the water, her soul wandering the woodlands. This combined with the passionate, sometimes rebellious, haunted rhythms of Tidiane creates a style of music some refer to as empathy driven “Tech Noir”. The duo deliver their debut album on the new Swiss imprint Blizzard Audio Club this September following on from releases from Pavel and E&A Rüeger,

‘Voyage au Bout de la Nuit’ employs dark, murky soundscapes peppered with subdued yet inviting melodies, raw drums and Marie Hoffman’s intoxicating vocals alluring you from start to finish.

“Voyage au Bout de la Nuit is inspired by the same named book from Louis-Ferdinand Céline in which the protagonist is drawn into various hells (World War 1, colonized Africa, NY, suburb of Paris, as a practicing doctor for the poor and finally director of a psychiatry). The recurrent theme is the darkness combined with solitude in which he wanders. Even in a moment he is with a woman who accepts him and there is mutual love, he searches discomfort, is incapable of settling. He is never arriving (only at last when he is old and his lyrical doppelganger dies); he has to go his own way, and there is no guide in his night or hell. Life as walking in complete darkness. This theme I projected onto life in big cities with their active night life, but also relatively, largest amounts of singles, their greater anonymosity and loneliness. It may seem on the one hand that our lives are determined by events we have no control over, but on the other hand we have a strong desire to grow personally and interact, which also implies that we have to sense our own way in darkness. A personal way is a path that no one walked before. We may fail, but should never give up.” HYPER OPAL

HYPER OPAL ‘Voyage au Bout de la Nuit’ drops via Blizzard Audio Club on 30th June 2020 and the full album entitled ‘A Light Speed’ is out on 25th September 2020.
