I remember first getting into electronic music and this tune was being played all over the clubs in Berlin. Everybody just went crazy when this banger started to be mixed into the sets.

This tune came out in 1997 as fas as I can remember – played this at my residency at Apollo Club in Cologne back in the days at my early gigs. Love the deepness and the Vocal Dub the best.

Classic early morning track – Promised Land always cheers you up with the lyrics and the message it conveys.
2002 Floppy Sounds – Late Night – Felix Da House Cat & Tommie Sunshine’s Thee Glitz Mix
This is more a trippy track by Felix da House Cat …love the hypnotic groove and the repetitive arp …such a banger!
Josh Wink – Higher State Of Consciousness Original
Sorry to add Josh Wink – again! – but this is an even stronger track on Manifesto. I remember buying this track at Music Man Cologne digging for Vinyls every Wednesday and Friday when the fresh deliveries came in. The acid Line is legendary and so is the break.
Låpsley – Falling Short
Just discovered this a few weeks back – just a touching track – the artist production of the video just blew me away – and what a message this sends out.
Sevdaliza – Shahmaran
This track shows that music videos are not a dying art and will always be addition to music and vice versa….Just picture this on a Sunrise on Zanzibar holding someone close that you love?
Sevdaliza – Marilyn Monroe
Sevdaliza needs to featured again – again the perfect combination of art and music and a music video. Love this for a late afterhour as well.
Carl Craig – Sandstorms
All of a sudden you hear this, the vibe gets more intense, you hear the electric fuzzy sounds and deep groovy bassline.. there is nothing you can do but surrender to this very moment.. when the subtle synth drops in you almost get to tears, colors flashing your mind, eyes closed or open..excitement
Sailor & I – Tough Love (Official Video)
Love the melancholy and the vocals on this one – the message of a couple that is fighting to keep the love alive resonates with me on so many levels.
