1. The Verve – Sonnet
This all album is an under appreciated musical and lyrical journey. It was on loop mode on my lonely trip between Australia and Asia around 2000’s.
2. Joseph Arthur – Temporary People
When traveling and moving a lot almost all the people around you are temporary people until you find your place, great song.
3. Kanye West – Bad News
My favourite song out of one of the best albums ever created, Kanye is a genius.
4. Gil Scott-Heron – I’m New Here
Gil Scott-Heron is a legend, a poet full of words of wisdom, this one walks with me wherever I go, and I’m new.
5. Kendrick Lamar – Poetic Justice ft. Drake
My favourite Rapper of all time, one of a kind and the best concert I’ve ever been to.
6. M.I.A. – Bucky Done Gun
I think a lot of my influence comes from M.I.A, so raw, in your face but still pretty minimalistic hardcore beat and super flow on the lyrics. Just makes you want to move.
7. Radiohead – Weird Fishes / Arpeggi
I pretty much love everything Thom Yorke has done, but this is a standout for me, amazing instrumentation (that arp…) and just a deep song. Everything works here.
8. Moby – Go
There’s not a lot of tracks out there that you can drop in a party whenever and they just work. Amazing track by Moby full of inspiration.
9. Father John Misty – I Love You Honeybear
Josh Tillman can see the Future, such a Perfect song for these days and the album is a amazing. Plus, it was our wedding song, pay attention to the lyrics, it’s dark out there.

10. Le Chat – Pussycat 1983
I thought I’ll finish with Something more fun. When this was dropped at ‘Dekmantel Festival’ everybody went crazy, such an uplifting vibe on this super italo disco.
NISSIM – Uneven Ground (NISSIM)
Electronic music producer NISSIM inaugurates his self-titled imprint with an experimental, debut album entitled ‘Uneven Ground’.
Originally from the south of Israel, NISSIM started as a DJ and has been making music for over a decade. With a passion for a myriad of musical styles, NISSIM’s love for electronic sounds was ignited by the psychedelic trance music scene and parties of the mid-2000s that he used to organise. Now based in Berlin, NISSIM’s music-making journey has been one of exploration and experimentation combining different production techniques with a mix of genres and concepts, his intuitive production method is the antithesis of the meticulous craft he exerts as a sound engineer. During the ebb and flow of 2020, NISSIMhas used the industry’s downtime to put his focus towards finishing his first full-length album entitled‘Uneven Ground’.
In ‘Uneven Ground’, his first-ever official release, NISSIM has created an intimate narrative space that traces his journey over the past eight years. The full-length album is a mindful introspection and melancholic contemplation of the composer’s own flaws. In his search for himself and his distinct sound, NISSIM has drawn on his own experiences to build a sequence of multidimensional soundscapes that lure his listeners deeper and deeper into a world that continuously recreates itself. The result is a highly personal ten-track album that marks NISSIM’s coming of age as an electronic music producer.
With a creative process that is characterized by single takes, no edits, no boxes, no planning ahead, sparse mixing, deep mastering, and sound design only in the final stages, NISSIM creates cross-genre storytelling musical journeys that want you to get lost within. The album unconventionally moves on a wide spectrum of electronic music, combining a wealth of elements from various genres, thus creating unexpected sonic layers whilst showcasing a complex diversity in the arrangement, sound design, and rhythm.
