Cuore Records continue their back to basics and staunchly underground ideals with a new EP from Argentina born, Leeds based talent Rui-Z, and remixer Benjamin Fröhlich. Having previously working in other genres, Rui-Z turned to dance music in 2016 and has a boundless energy and an infectious enthusiasm that landed him an EP on 20/20 Vision Recordings and a string of remixes alongside the legendary Ralph Lawson. The Cuore label meanwhile has been going from strength to strength with Laurent Garnier and Colin Dale ranked amongst their fans. For this new release Rui-Z draws you in from the off with his vibrant style on the fantastic ‘Talk’, a warm, bubbly deep house tune with cavernous drums and bass rising and falling in hypnotic fashion. The soulful chords bring the colour and make this one all the more standout. The superb ‘Back 2 day’ is another atmospheric house track with well designed synths, but this time some raw, old school drum breaks and dusty hits add more texture and dance floor drive. German artist and Permanent Vacation co-founder Benjamin Fröhlich, adds a great groove and acid touch to the original that takes the tune to a higher state of consciousness.
