This song speaks to me because of how simple the chords are. Ariel Pink is a great songwriter, and this tune is best played after a long night out.

Mk.Gee hits that perfect blend between production and live instruments for me. Just a gooey bubbly groove every time.
Puma Blue – Moon Undah Water
This has to be one of the tightest live arrangements I’ve heard in a while. The band has the craziest pocket on this one.
Hot Chip – Boy From School
One of those nice uptempo late-night songs with the chord progression to keep everyone in a happy mood.
Cate Le Bon – Are You With Me Now?
A sweet and wholesome arrangement from the mega-talented Cate Le Bon. She’s so so good!
Babe Rainbow – Peace Blossom Boogy
This band out of Australia makes me smile every time I put them on. Effortless cool.
Tame Impala – Sundown Syndrome
It’s always fun to play some crusty old Tame Impala and have everyone be like.. wait, THIS is tame impala? Fun Fact: This is one of the songs that got me into recording my music with live instruments years ago.
Crumb – Bones
One of my favorite bands out of BK, Crumb nails the jazz-indie sound with super tasteful performances on their respective instruments. And that drum tone!

This all-female group has some of the coolest full-band vocal harmonies around. A great song to play at any time.
Big Wild – Awaken
Big Wild is a good friend of mine, and he made me damn near cry when I first heard this lovely song off of his latest LP, Superdream.

Multi-instrumentalist, producer and vocalist White Cliffs drops downtempo single on Repopulate Mars with a Nathan Barato remix, with all profits being donated to preventing climate change. With roots in jazz guitar and piano, the Brooklyn-based artist has self-released several titles when not being tapped up to remix for labels like Ultra and Invisible Firm. He now joins Lee Foss’s label with a soothing track entitled ‘Brace Yourself – a low-slung and organic production complete with captivating guitar licks, an infectious bass, soft keys and rich vocals with lyrics focused on the climate change crisis.
