Trainspotting with Archie B

UK producer, Archie B’s style of music production is hard to set into one genre. With a combination of UK Garage, House and bass, he is setting his own trend with his own style of music and has won lots of BBC radio support from the likes of Pete Tong, Monki and Danny Howard, among others. To date Archie has released across a broad section of top dance labels including Freakin 909, Audio Rehab, Mad-Tech and Toolroom among many. His most notable releases include ‘Gassed Up’, ‘No Limit On Funk’, ‘Overdrive Love EP’, ‘Runaway’ feat Abigail Bailey and ‘What I Want’. As his new single, ‘Want Me’ drops on BIG Speaker Music, DMCWorld goes Trainspotting with Archie B!

1 Archie B – Can’t Handle It – Stereohype

I made this track at the beginning of first lockdown and it’s really a track from the heart and the sound I love to make with the old school chords and new school vocals and vibe. It’s going down so well at the moment.

2 Sol Brothers & Damo C Scott – Turn Around – Flipside Records

I’ve been playing this track for a while now in every set since I got it. Massive summer piano house track that went under the radar in my opinion!

3 Chambray – Someday ft Rebecca & Fiona – FRDM

Absolutely love the vibe of this track, I can just imagine being on a beach somewhere listening to this with a cocktail in hand but also, I’ve been ending my sets with it. It’s such a beautiful track with very nice vocals.

4 Bad Intentions Ft Rowetta – Anytime Is House Time – Wh0 Plays

I’ve been really hitting this track hard in my set’s and it proper takes me back to when I first got in to rave and house music back in the 90s. Massive rave influenced track with the classic Rowetta on vocals

5 Archie B – Want Me – BIG Speaker Music

Another track of mine a made in lockdown this was part of a sound I was experimenting with which really worked. Classic breakbeat style with sweet vocals and my own vocal chop vox style.

6 Orbital – Chime (Eli Brown remix) – Orbital Recordings

The original Chime by Orbital was one of my all-time favourite tracks from back in the day and i love the recent remix from Eli brown. Kinda tacks me back but takes me forwards at the same time.

7 Mac & Ward – Never Give It Up – Night Mayors

Another piano house track but with a real rave vibe and breakdown. Real sweet vocals that hit’s hard in the club too!

Never Give It Up (Extended Mix)

8 Amy Lauren & Blank Sense – Take A Chance – High Definition

This track reminds me of the old school RnB days but with a house twist. Such a cool vibe and really sexy vocals.

Amy Lauren & Blank Sense - Take a Chance

9 Jess Bays & Poppy Backcomb – Temptation – Good Company

I love this girl so much and I love how far she’s progressed over the years especially with music like this. Chilled deep house kinda vibe with sick vocals from poppy.

Jess Bays - Temptation (ft. Poppy Baskomb)

10 AmyElle – Push It – Another Rhythm

This track is such a club bomb that I’ve again been playing in every set since I’ve had it. Proper rave vibes with techno style sounds too.
