Anikey is a DJ/Producer based in Kharkiv, Ukraine. For his new single ‘Swan’, he invited his wife to sing an ode to peace (in Ukrainian) on top of his cinematic electronic incursions. Somewhere in between broken beat, dub, acid and deep-techno, ‘Swan’ really caught our attention thanks to its dramatic intensity and creativity. If you don’t like the ethnic vibes of the vocals, you can dive deeper with the Dub version, while Jickow delivers a dancefloor-focus smashing version, with high volume melodies and powerful beats. He also runs his events brand SUPPORT which is a series of charity meetings aimed at combining leisure and assistance to the Armed Forces which has included multiple fundraising club events at OPIUM party bar in Ukraine. I want to conclude the collection with this track. Despite having some great remixes, the original is so beautiful and evokes a storm of memories.
