Derrick May – Kaotic Harmony

Detroit goodness, proving mistakes and improvisation can be beautiful.

Pat Metheny Group – Are You Going With Me?

Pat Methany was a staple of my sets at Café del Mar in the 90s, this is my favourite by him.. Blissful!

Lovely offbeat grooves from Weatherall & Tenniswood, perfect for afterparty starter.

Terry Callier – Dancing Girl

Lost count how many times I’ve played this back at mine after the club, very early hours.. Divinity! As good as it gets.

Terry Callier - Dancing Girl

MFSB – Love Is The Message

I’ve played the dub so many times, so I really enjoy the original for its energy and dramatic moments. Fortunately, I got to see innovator Nicky Siano do his 2 x 12” dub of this in Brooklyn NY 2021. It’s alleged he was the creator of the now famous mix, borrowed by Levan and finally released by Danny Krivit.

Trilogy – Love Me Forever Or Love Me Not (The Dub Of Doom Mix)

C&C Music Factory providing deep, dark early hours goodness remixing this 1990 club hit. Deep, Dark House at it’s finest!

A perfect marriage remix wise of 2 talents.. Screeching moody analogue synth heaven. Uplifting!

BICEP | OPAL (FOUR TET REMIX)

The Future Sound of London – Cascade (Part 1)

From the definitive album ‘Lifeforms’. Another game changer from FSOL who really took things quite far out, to the point it seemed there was nowhere else for them to go but they gave us enough. They have since worked as Amorphous Androgynous.

Michelle Gayle – Sweetness (LTJ Bukem remix)

Bukem, slick business on this unlikely pop track remix, creating an unlikely gem!

Michelle Gayle - Sweetness (LTJ Bukem remix) (RCA 1994)

Denkimi – Shakuhachi (Remix)

“Shakukachi = Bamboo Flute” They don’t really make tracks like this anymore. Melancholy, emotive, early deep house business.

Denkimi-Shakuhachi (Remix)

All gone a bit moody after hours? So pop this on, grab your spandex pants for this Back to Mine Sunday Morning kitchen dancefloor filler!
