Djuma Soundsystem – Les Djins (Trentemoller remix)
So many emotions and so many memories from this track. This is one of the most representative and iconic tracks of Ibiza with Energy 52’s ‘Cafe Del Mar’. I can’t stop playing it at home.
Tounami Diabaté – Ismael Drame
This is a magic one. So deep, so emotional. African music at his best! The way it’s recorded and mixed is fabulous.
Marvin Gaye – Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler)
Sorry, but I have no words to describe this one!
Dexter Wansel – The Sweetest Pain
The perfect song for a Romantic Dinner – Dexter is the king for Sexy Hypnotic Soul Funk / House Music lovers will recognize the sample in Global Communication ‘The Way’. One of the best tracks of the disco house genre out in 96.
Jasper Street Co. – Smile
Smile is the masterpiece of the Gospel House Music! I’ve was lucky to sign my first release back in 2002 on this legendary Basement Boys records label with my friend Rochdee. I love the club mix, but the interlude no beats mix is definitely my favorite one. Unfortunately this special edit is not on youtube and only on Apple Music.
Machines – Stellaris Memories From The Stars
A Stellar one! Perfect to chill, meditate and relax under the stars to on a hot summer’s night. I love the 80’s vibe it has.
The Rolling Stones – Heaven
I only discovered this one a few years ago. The vocal is one of the most psychedelic that The Stones ever did. A sexy and seductive sound.
Michael Jackson – Who Is It
My parents were listening to his very LOUD in the car when I was a kid. The production is just amazing… and what about the video! It was hard to choose between this one and ‘Liberian Girl’, which I probably listened to at least once a week for 20 years.
Pepe Bradock – Deep Burnt
This is just the biggest deep House record ever! Going out in a club where Louie Vega was playing it on vinyl was such an experience. The vinyl on KIF label was one of the most wanted records on the market before it got repressed during the Berlin Hypster hype years.
Klement Bonelli & Torre Bros ‘Steigen’ (Klement Bonelli Tinnit Remix) is out now on connected.
