‘Outside’ for me is Burna Boy’s best album. This record definitely stood out in the album for me, and the production is insane.

Atjazz & Jullian Gomes – Empty Paradise
This track is so atmospheric and seductive, it takes me to another place. Also the album ‘Big Bad Crazy’ got me through some dark times.
Laolu – Many Faces
The chords, the flute, the lush pad, and the beautiful vocal sitting in the middle. This track is a masterpiece, one of my all time favourite Afro House tunes.
Knee Deep – All About Love
This was a huge house anthem in 2008/2009, and I am still vibing to it more than a decade later!
Al Green – Your Love Is Like The Morning Sun
One of the first tunes I learnt to play on the guitar. Also a go – to record to listen to while I am laying outside on the lawn chair, enjoying some good Mary Jane.
Culoe de Song (feat. 340ml) – Let The Sunshine
You have to add the legendary Culoe de Song to a list like this. This is a very emotional and deep song, it levitates me to a higher self every time I go back to it. Also a very good intro track for a DJ set.
Kaybee ft Lady Zamar – Charlotte
This track was a huge radio hit in South Africa in 2017/2018. It brings me back to the beach days in KZN with my family.
N’Dinga Gaba feat. Sahffi – Summer Breeze (Raw Artistic Soul Remix)
Arguably the catchiest vocal melody in South African house music.
