Scotty Cal is a mainstay on the Australian scene who has established himself with residencies at Sydney’s most coverted parties such as Label Warehouse, Manly Wharf Bar and Blueprint entertainment. He now lives in Bali where he co-runs the Escape to Bali concept, a sought-after monthly house and techno event at various locations from Uluwatu to Seminyak and Canggu. He is a fast emerging producer whose solo debut ‘Mothership’ reached #17 on the Australian ARIA club charts and most recent EP “Futurism” gained attention from the likes of Jamie Jones, Paco Osuna & Audiojack. I love dropping this to intimate dance floor and watching people still be so super reactive. It’s so chilled but just so magic. I could listen to this on repeat.

St Germain – Mary L

Ughhhh, I could do a 1-10 St Germain list and be happy with that. This would have to be my No.1 pick though. I lose myself to the vibey percussion and rich smooth piano piece.

Elastic Sound  – True Romance (Grigory Melikov Remix)

Deep house at its absolute finest. Take me higher.

Prunk – Femme

I’ve been using this track lately as a Segway in a driving house set. I love that I can play this to a crowded dance floor or at home having a tea. It works for both and that in my opinion is the magic.

Rampa ft Chiara Noriko  – For This

This track takes me back to Agung in Bali DJing under the volcano. A magic moment in my life. The vocal is heart melting.

Chris Stussy – For The Music

A proper raw house number. Old school Chris Stussy, I love the way he uses the vocal sample chop. Super clever.

James Dexter – Disco Deep

An early roller, how can you not love it. A perfect warm up tune.

Peter Matson  – Roma Norte, Jimpster Remix

Bouncy drums, smooth synth lines and a jungle feel accompanied by perfect vocal.. Puts me right into sunset at echo beach in Bali where I live. LOVE it.

Irfan Rainy, Baba Israel  – Freedom Music (Manoo Tribal Mix)

I’ve aways has a soft spot for afro house, so it only seemed fitting I added this on. The powerful spoken word blending into the afro percussive beat, what a vibe!
