Gemma Dobson better known by her stage name SIREN, is a British Drum and Bass Music Producer and DJ. Her fast-paced skill as a public performing DJ has garnered her support and attention from some of the industry’s leading DJs and gained her a solid fan base within the Drum & Bass community. All of her releases to date have had mainstream radio play on Kiss FM, BBC Introducing and her latest release was played on Radio 1. Her single ‘VENGENCE’ was made the cover of the world’s biggest DnB playlist on Spotify ‘Massive Drum & Bass’. So far she has supported Chase & Status, Andy C, Netsky, Pendulum, Modestep, Virtual Riot, Sub Focus, Dimension plus Alison Wonderland, Zeds Dead-to name a few. SIREN has secured over 8 dates in Ibiza to support Chase & Status for their residency at Eden, and has been booked to support Netsky on his stage at Tomorrowland and Printworks, with further bookings in Europe including Nibirii Festival, Prague and Estonia. Chase & Status – Blind Faith

This track, for me, is a great segue to move the conversation onto talking about those moments that made me fall in love with DnB and ultimately led to me pursuing this career. Nothing beats my memories of C&S playing this in Amnesia in Ibiza and being stood thinking ‘I want to create moments like this for a crowd one day’.

This has been my tune of the summer, it just bangs! I’ve got so many memories this summer driving home from gigs with my best mates all singing this at the top of our lungs. In particular in the car on the way back to the hotel after Let It Roll, the poor driver’s ears!

Kano – New Banger

I have been a Kano fan since his 2005 album, but this track, from his 2016 album, gives me bad girl energy when I’m listening to it. A hype track pre set.

Nero – Promises Skrillex and Nero Remix

Electronic music at its finest. I was and still am a Dubstep girl, I still play this in my sets now when I get the right vibe from the crowd and it always goes off.

Pendulum – Hold Your Colour (Noisia remix)

When I worked the seasons in Ibiza I got to listen to Pendulum DJ sets nearly every week and each week I would look forward to the next set because you knew you’d be going on a whole new journey. I was lucky enough to play with Noisia on the second to last set at Nibirii Festival and honestly, that set was in, not just a league, but a galaxy of its own.

The Prodigy – Firestarter

I was lucky enough to see The Prodigy last year at the 02 Academy in Brixton and in all honesty I’ve never seen anything like it, the show was out of this world. They had a hologram to represent Keith Flint which was extra special.

Disclosure – You and Me (Flume remix)

This is just one of those tracks that I really love. I can’t even remember the first time I heard it but it is one of my go to driving sing a longs.

Nelly – Dilemma

This is 100% a guilty pleasure of mine. I know this word for word and let’s not forget Kelly Rowland trying to send a text on an excel doc in the video.

Coppa & SIREN – Subsonic

Would be rude not to play my own track to my mates at an afters, this is my brand new one with Coppa called Subsonic. I can’t help but get the gun fingers out to the beat of this.
