James Poole continues his meteoric rise in house music, securing major releases and international shows for 2025. Following standout records on John Summit’s Experts Only, Cloonee’s Hellbent, and Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters in 2024, he’s set to drop new music on Revival New York (18th April), Bandidos with Ky William (14th March), and NAIMA (16th May), with a release on Pete Tong’s Three Six Zero also in the works. Fresh off a year that saw him make his Ibiza debut at Eden and Hï, support John Summit at KOKO London, and land festival slots across the UK and Europe, James’ momentum is undeniable. One of my favourite releases of 2025 so far this one! It finds the perfect balance between intricate synth work and driving club elements, topped off with a wicked selection of vocal ear candy pre-drop.

Les Indiscretes – Without You – Armada Music

A track first released the year I was born, and it’s recently become a staple of my DJ sets. A speed garage classic in my eyes, a captivating build up sequence followed by one of the best reese basslines my ears have encountered.

Duck Sauce – Fallin In Love (Butch Remix) – Defected Records

This feels like a modern classic to me – happiness personified. Extremely sleek production with a bundle of joyous disco house components, this one is going to be huge this Summer and it’ll be staying on my USB throughout!

Piem – Activated (feat. SLM) – Jackies Music Records

After rinsing his track ‘Boy Don’t’ all 2024, I was buzzing to see Piem provide another instalment of organ bass goodness. The spoken word vocals in this one provide eerie tones in the breakdowns, before that M1 low-end comes in to take the party to another dimension.

A release of mine dating back to December 2022 but still finding its way into my DJ sets when the moment feels right. Hearing that vocal come in always gets the dance floor hooked.

Marian (BR) – Saint and Sinners – Mood Child

Marian is hands down one of my favourite producers at the moment & this track might just top the lot. The groove on this is insane and if you haven’t heard it yet, get yourself comfy and enjoy it.

nocapz. – More Love – Hot Creations

I played this at my Italy debut a few months back and it took the roof off! It reminds me of those 2015-2018 tech house records we all know and love with a super fresh 2025 twist… wicked track.

RIP Productions – The Rub – Ice Cream Records

One straight from the 90s which will forever live on my USB. Every time I play this I always get that tap on the shoulder for an ID, the ultimate DJ seal of approval.

Been loving the beats these lads have been cooking up and this one is right up there. Playful grooves, retro synth work & a bassline you know is going to rock any sound system.
