No one does peak time floor bangers better than Soul Avengerz. Paul Gardner has worked with and remixed some of the best names in the biz including Marshall Jefferson, Queen, Axwell, Inaya Day, Nightcrawlers, George Benson, Kaskade, Beyonce, Blondie, Alison Limerick, Shapeshifters, Joey Negro, Katherine Ellis, Roland Clark, and  Sterling Void, to name but a few. And his work has graced major and key dance music labels including, CR2, Positiva, Ministry of Sound, Big Love, Black Riot, Manifesto, Sony BMG, Hed Kandi, Trois Garçon, Milk&Sugar, Universal and Strictly Rhythm, among others. As his new collaboration with US vocal legend Adeva, ‘Musical Freedom’ drops on Fool’s Paradise, DMCWorld goes Trainspotting with Soul Avengerz.

Soul Avengerz, Adeva – Musical Freedom – Fool’s Paradise

I’m going to start off with my latest release Musical Freedom, a track I am super proud of, especially having the ‘queen of house’ Adeva on the vocals, the original Paul Simpson version was a track I used to play at the end of my sets, way back in the early 90’s at clubs like – Limelights, Paddocks, Gardening Club, Pushca, etc, reminds me of such amazing times.

Revival ft Imaani – Best Of My Love – Revival Records

This label is pure quality, honestly everything they release sounds amazing. This is the 4th release and it’s a classy update of one of my favourite disco tracks ever. Imaani nails the vocal, production is on another level. Definitely looking forward to hearing more from them.

Ten City – That’s The Way Love Is – Sony Ultra

Wow, never in my wildest dreams, thinking back to being this 19 years old playing this record on repeat, would I ever get the chance to remix this true house classic. I really hope I did it justice and from the DJ feedback seems I did! Big shout to Marshall Jefferson for the kind words on the remix too.

Cassimm – Love Desire – Golden

This goes off, pure and simple. Loletta Holloway vocals have that special excitement in a house track and combined with this groove, a nod to French kiss, this is the killer combination.

Sound Support – Bump Into You – Toy Tonics

I’m a big fan of the Toy Tonics label, but this record is the stand out for me. Just feels so good; I can play this any set anywhere and it just works.

Soul Avengerz – Hurts On You – Big Speaker Music

This is one of mine on US label Big speaker and I love the vocal, its a groover, really sets the vibe in a club, love that its getting lots of good comments and feedback.

Friendly Ghosts – Fan The Flame – Pleased As Punch

A new label on the block from Simon Shapeshifters and Saison. Really loving their vibe, I might even have a track coming on this fab label soon – watch this space!

Low Steppa & Crusy – This Is The Sound – DFTD

This is one for the late-night sets, just how I like it when the lights go down. Big drums & big energy, has that early Harry Romero & Jose Nunez vibe to it.

Michael Gray – Invincible – Sultra Records

To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever played a DJ set without at least one track from Michael Gray – Absolute don, classy as ever and a big influence on me from the start of my production career.

Ron Carroll – Mysteries – Nu Groove

Nu Groove have been putting out some great releases recently. This one is a nod to the early nineties and I’m here for that, this sounds so good in a club.
