“My interest for my upcoming album ‘Club Badd’, is in the twisted Internet stars that inhabit the world of youtube – NOT the stages of electroclash and art galleries. My solo album features lots of guest performers like Princess Superstar in the MTV Europe smash Licky like Pete Tong, Erol Alkan, Justice, Judge Jules and everyone else. Such as, the most famous Internet celebrity blogger Perez Hilton (9 million hits a day), nasty mouth rapper Roxy Cottontail, MTV UK presenter Jodie Harsh, 7 year old Mexican singer AManita and infamous transsexual Amanda LePore to name a few. These kinds of self-made rebels make me tingle because they are following a path that is new.”

“Miaow, miaow miaow…. kittie pounce. Her voice is so sexy that it makes you WANT titis, eh?”
If we wanted to come and stay at your place in Brooklyn and go out, where would you take us for a cruise?
“Well, we would go to HUGS to check out what the hipsters are wearing and how devil-may-care they are. Then off the Beacons’ closet to get some second hand clothing… everyone stops there, and then we would walk through McAren Park where all the hipsters parade down the sidewalk in the summer surrounded by half-naked trendies readings books and looking smart. I’m the one with the glasses!!”
You hit the top of the charts with Rupaul with your co-penned ‘Supermodel’ tune – how did you hook with him, what was he like to work with and did you go out together and get wasted?
“I met Rupaul before he ever did drag and he did drag for the first time at my old band’s show in Atlanta. Rupaul was definitely a diva and has remained that way throughout her career – and a Scorpio… so watch out, you could get bitten! And yes, we did get wasted years ago on 5 hits of acid each, but now neither of us has done any substance harder than Red Bull recently! I got clean through the help of NA and have so much more fun DJing around the world since. I used to think getting high was my right!!! What a sucker.”
What have been your best/craziest NY parties you’ve ever been to over the years?
” Well, when i was into electro, i had a party called “Berliniamsburg” that dragged everyone out to WIlliamsburg. The NY TImes says it is one of the reasons the neighborhood is so happening now. I can’t take credit for that. No, I will take credit for that. Everyone from Heed Slimae from Dior, Susan Sontag, Larry CLark, Chloe Sevigny, Naomi Campbell and the Dolce and Gabana dudes came for a visit. And the things that happened in the bathroom, well some things are sacred.”
What’s your thoughts on the American Elections?
“I’ll be honest. Politics has gotten so horrible. If Obama was elected President, the whole world would be changed and anything would be possible really. I am so excited!!! – and supercharged…”
Where were you when the Twin Towers happened?
“I was living on 6th St. which was about 20 blocks from the World Trade Center. They stopped all cars and trucks from entering my neighborhood so it looked really strange with the smoke in the air and no cars. post apocalyptic indeed. It was very intense and I think it’s the reason I live in Williamsburg now.”
Ever been mugged?
“I have been mugged and had a gun pointed to my head, but I knew at the time that God wasn’t going to let me go out that way. Geez, if I survived the drugs, the boys and Reagan years, I wasn’t going to let someone blow mt head off. “
Who have you sat next to at a celebrity party and thought, “oh just f*ck off”…
“Once when I was out, my drag queen friend Lahome asked George Michael for an autograph and he turned and said “I’m not working today!” At that point I put a curse on his career – so he hasn’t really worked since. That’s why he gets caught every-time he takes his cock out!!”
Who would you be your your dream celebrity f*ck?
“The guy that played BIlly Elliot – Jamie Bell, he is all grown up now and so hot…”
Do your neighbours knock on your door at five in the morning and ask you to “please, turn the music down”?
“No, but they come in at five in the afternoon and say turn it down. I think I am not going to answer the door next time I see that bitch in my door-view.”
Best record of all time and what was the first record that got you into the dance music world?
“The best record of all time for me might be Donna Summers “I Feel Love”, because it hasn’t really dated a moment since it was conceived. The song that got me into to dance was probably KC And The Sunshine Band’s first album. We would go to parties and just flip the record over and over again because there was nothing else that sounded like it at the time….”
What do you think of English footballer David Beckham – do you know him?
“David Beckham…. dont know him. Though if he likes Elton, he would like me.”
What’s next for Mr Tee…?
“Well, my touring this year has gone into overdrive since my ‘Licky’ video became an MTV staple. Once something hits youtube and the internet it takes on a life of it’s own. I am currently making videos for the little lady Hilton, Amanda LePre and several others as well as being a part-time member of The Chippendales… I’m the Cowboy!”
What clubs have rocked for you this year?
“God! All the fun clubs in Brazil, Australia, The Global Gathering Festivals, Mysterland Festival, Rauw in the Netherlands, Razzmatazz and Low in Spain, OMG China (love it), and Djing at Miss Hilton’ party at the SXSW festival in Austin Texas which featured Katy Perry, N.E.R.D., Swayze and half the other breakout stars of the top 40. Kinda fun and cheezy at the same time.”

“Jesse Rose did my favorite set this year, but I also LOVE Oliver Dollar, Christopher Just, Boys Noize and Erol Alkan”
You were the man behind Brooklyn club Luxx – what are your best memories from those days at the club? Brooklyn is cool yeah?
“Brooklyn – I was very cool, yeah. Luxx was the party that made my neighborhood go boom and I was like the real estate agent that brought everyone through and made it perfect for condo-dwellers and buyers. There are some 10,000 units going on the market in the next year!. I am gonna have to leave town after that population of baby carriages arrives. My hipster cred will be RUINED!…”
What else is going on in Larry World?
“Well I own the Trademark for my ‘Electrolash brand and that I am in the middle of talking to Apple Mac for using my term in their new version of Logic – their music making hardware. They shouldn’t use people’s intellectual property without permission, right?”
