Fashion Rocks
Help from the shelves with Gerald Bailey

So how did you first set foot on the fashion planet?
“My interest in fashion was sparked by the early 80’s casual look. Our first store opened 20 years ago in the centre of Wolverhampton selling brands such as Lemon and La Garage. Things really picked up for us with the birth of the rave scene, I remember we sold loads of Wallabies shoes and labels like Naf Naf & Gio Goi.

Tell us about your clubbing roots…you are known as one of the biggest and friendliest party rockers out there…
“I was involved in the creation of some of the most successful dance nights in the Midlands; ‘Quest’, ‘Pimp’ and ‘Atomic Jam are the big three from me’.”
