Agoria’s “Go Fast” is a rather extraordinary LP, it’s more like a classical piece done with electronics, rather than a collection of tracks. The opening “Tender Storm” and “Altre Voci”could soundtrack the haunting aftermath of a bombed out radioactive distant planet. But it’s by no means all prophecies of doom, “Memole Bua” comes on like an Underground Resistance hidden gem, “Dust” takes a deep house route with spot on vocals care of Scalde, “Eden” wouldn’t sound out of place on the legendary Apollo label, “Solarized” has got an Anthony (& The Johnsons) disco torch song vibe, and “Around The Corner” is a strummed ballad with hovering distant atmospherics. All in all “Go Fast” takes you places, which means Agoria is definitely going to be making plenty of waves in 2009.
