Justin & Luke Unabomber from Manchester’s infamous Electric Chair club, are the guys behind the Elektrons, so you already know that this is gonna be a bit special. ‘Get Up’ originally saw the light of day as a limited release last summer, and now it’s gonna get the full push it so rightly deserves, care of Wall Of Sound. ‘Get Up’ has been reworked for 2007, and Elektrons have drafted in Soup from LA‚s Jurassic 5, who lays down some cutting rhymes, alongside Pete Simpson’s sweet soulful vocals. The result is an irresistible jump up anthem, as elements of 70‚s funk do battle with old skool hip hop and proper electro. This should fly up the charts like Tom & Ed with rockets up their arses.
