BEATCONDUCTOR
BEATS CUT OUT, PLAYED BACK AND SOULED
DICEY

Sweden’s Beatconductor aka Beatfanatic somehow manages to find the time (he really does seem to be one of the hardest working men in show business) to re-work 18 (!) hip-hop and R&B classics, throwing down enough styles to keep even the worst attention-challenged CD flipper entertained.  Technically, it’s not an artist album as such, matching accapellas to afro-funk, latin, reggae, soul, jazz and funk, but this guy brings more to the production table than most, creating something pretty unique in the process.  See if you can spot EPMD, Tevin Campbell, TLC, Big Daddy Kane, Anthony Hamilton, MC Lyte, amongst many others.
