Busta Rhymes returns with a new haircut and a spring in his step, attributable to two things – a change of record label and the production of Dr Dre. Dre’s presence cannot be undervalued, the percussive piano of ‘Your Time Has Come’ illustrating the point, while a stellar guest list sees star turns from Stevie Wonder (the superb ‘Into The Storm’), Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey and Eminem. It’s arguably the rapper’s most personal album yet, a homage to his birthplace New York, and keeps an edge throughout Busta’s breathless rapping. As sharp as his new haircut, in fact.
