With 8 million album sales under their belts, I think you can safely say that Tom Rowlands & Ed Simons have spent 11 years at the top of their game, & with the arrival of their fifth LP “Push The Button”, it looks like nobody is even close to stealing their crowns. Opening with the current roof raising single “Galvanize”, “Push The Button” takes you on a beat laden sonic journey, that glides on psychedelic infused melodies, (no change there then), rocking your socks off one minute, then totally blissing you out the next. Collaborators this time round are Q-Tip, Tim Burgess, Anna Lynne, Anwar Superstar, Kele Okereke & The Magic Numbers. I’m not gonna start going through individual tracks, all you need to know is, it’s The Chemical Brothers & they’ve still got it, big time.
