diskJokke is Smalltown Supersound’s Joachim Dyrdahl, a man who fits in and around the Lidstrom and Prins Thomas approach to disco-based house music. ‘Folk i Farta’ has rightly become famed for its airy sound and piercing mid-range riff, but ‘I Was Go To Morrocco And I Don’t See You’ struts forward confidently, and ‘Flott Flyt’ impresses with its cool, pipe-like sounds. An assured instrumental debut, carefully constructed but also providing a nice turn in Detroit techno and electro.
