DJ Disse
When I’m Bored I Change Colour
Music For Dreams

Kenneth Bager continues his surreal quest by unleashing this weird and quite
wonderful klepto-kneesup from DJ Disse, brought to his attention by veteran
DJ Kjeld Tolstrup. It’s basically a grab-bag of styles and experiments
constructed from records found by Disse in flea markets and cobbled together
into new life forms with the help of mates like Banzai republic’s Buda, Ben
Horn, Jazz Box, Don’t Feed The Monkey and Ken himself. Now you can hear the inimitable bassline from Lou Reed’s ‘Walk On The Wild Side’ ska’ed up,
Eastern wailing, tribal house and techno, dub, haunting horns, and a
stupendous take on the Doors’ ‘Walk On The Wild Side’. We need more fun and irreverence in electronic music and this is an aural riot.
