For a good house comp this summer, you can happily end the search here. These are two DJs caught at the top of their game, their mixes complementing each other perfectly. DJ Heather’s set is typically bouncy, with Special Interest, Diem and Ion keeping a spring in the step, and Marko Militano’s ‘What You Say’ standing out as a superb vocal track. Onionz begins by taking a deeper, mellow stance with the gorgeous Blaze vs Funk D’Void track ‘Lovelee Home’ broadening into a fuller, tougher sound with Magik Johnson, Funk D’Void vs Phil Keiran’s ‘Tick Tick Tick’ and the Hardfloor remix of Gui Boratto’s ‘ATOL’. This is the sound of San Francisco’s premier house label in fine form.
