Simple but different and a bit twisted, Marcel usually takes a weighty kick drum and builds a variety of house-based stratas from there on up. Underground and groovy, tracks like ‘That Shit’ cook up big-bassed boogie vamps while ‘Take A No’ is heads-down NY basement tackle, before the title track charts a supremely wigged-out, effects-drenched thump which characterises a heady, unusual delight of a set.
