A Swedish trio who do odd things with electronic experimentation and live music, managing to create something wholly unique. It’s very difficult to do justice as it moves from beguilling group harmonies involving tumbles of flutes and saxophones amidst fragile voices, before tilting sideways into clicking insect like percussion and spoken word interludes. The group apparently have a fascination for sound architecture, design live pieces around prepared electronics and ambient noise. Imagine Isolee locked in a studio with Kings Of Convenience for six years and you’d be somewhere in the neighbourhood as to how midaircondo sound. Beautifully odd and refreshingly individual.
