Can you believe it’s already four years since the last Nightmares on Wax album? Well you wouldn’t know it, as ‘In A Space Outta Sound’ picks up where they left off with a blend of smoking beats and loops, beguiling vocals and inventive style clashes that take in George Evelyn’s experiences of world music.The softly whistled ‘Flip Ya Lid’ is a wonderful excursion into dub, while the percussion section receives extra weight for a couple of flirtations with soca beats later on. Another for the late night collection.
