The recent deluge and me falling a bit behind has resulted in a couple of gems slipping through the net – like Gigolos’ 2009 showcase showing the current state of play at the label, which is very healthy with names like Pete Kruder, Opiates, Motor, Richard Bartz, Acid Junkies, Seelenlouft, Captain Commodore, Marascia, Herman Schwartz, Abe Duque, Phobia, Bennie A and Fetisch & Me. It also includes a special edit of Hell’s recent masterwork ‘The Disaster’. An unexpected bonus is first tracks being DJ Pierre doing Sleazy D’s ‘I’ve Lost Control’, complete with screams and madness.
