‘LIVING WITH OWUSU & HANNIBAL
UBIQUITY

Electric soul, for wont of a better term, is something Ubiquity usually carry off really well. So it’s no surprise to discover that ‘Living With Owusu & Hannibal’ is an album that glows with warmth, taking soulful elements for sure but adding a few synths to the mix here and there. Bass lines are funky, vocals often dreamy and crucially the songwriting is good – musically and lyrically. At the funkier end sit cuts like ‘Another Mile’, while taking it slow produces a moving track in ‘Watch’. A most promising debut from the Danish duo, who’ve marked themselves out as ones to watch.
