Pama International
Love Filled Dub Band
Rockers Revolt

After a brief fling with the legendary Trojan Records, that included singles and an LP, Pama International are set to release their new album with the launch of their own label Rockers Revolt. ‘Love Filled Dub Band’ sees Pama Intl on top form, with their best work to date, and as for the line up, well you couldn’t get much more special. The opening cut ‘Wherever You Lead’ gets us off to a shuffle’n’skank good time funky start. ‘Lovely Wife’ features sweet vocals from Finny, plus Rico Rodriguez doing the do on trombone. Michie One takes the lead on ‘Highrise’ to the tune of the 1971 Eric Donaldson classic ‘Cherry Oh Baby’, working it a treat. Sean Flowerdew lets rip with the keyboard on ‘Orgon Will Follow’, and ‘Wonder Wonder’ sees Lynval Golding putting pen to paper for the first time since his days with The Specials and Fun Boy 3. ‘Love Filled Dub Band’ really does show the quality and knowledge of Pama International, as they dip into the many styles that reggae has developed over the years. Make sure you catch ’em live, the tour is in association with Love Music Hate Racism. Onwards & Upwards.
