Still they keep coming and every one intriguing in its own right. Now say hello to Linas Strockis from Lithuania who, after debuting on his own country’s Partyzanai, ended up on Planet Mu last year with first single ‘No Mo’. The track’s mouse penis-like micro-vamps and distant, clanking riffage swell malevolently into a dark, skewed barrage, the escalating chaos approach also characterising tracks like ‘Top’, whose riffs go up like a Blue Whale’s boner. Having said that, ‘Pillow’ is oddly delicate with skittering pulses and haunted atmosphere while ‘Fluttery’ goes deep and melodic. Most importantly, Linas has his own unique vision, no matter how occasionally warped, and isn’t afraid to let them fly.
